It is very difficult to pick just one reason why we love Harvest Church, but we can give you a few: God is always there We have Pastors who love and obey God Teaching and preaching is awesome People are loving and kind We could go on and on, but if you want to know the most important reason why we love Harvest Church, here it is: We are blessed to have a Pastor who is a true man of God and who consistently stays in the presence of God. A man who has Godly character and integrity, who preaches and teaches us the truth with simplicity based on the Word of God. He and his wife set a tremendous example that we are proud to follow. Harvest Church has meant a lot to me. I used to attend (occasionally) a Lutheran church. To me, that was so boring and I wasn't getting anything out of it. When I would visit my Mom in Tenn., I'd go with her to Calvary and LOVED it! I wished I could find someplace like that in Greensboro. In Oct. of 2000 I received a postcard in the mail regarding a church with Real Solutions for Real People. I held on to it. Later the same week, I got a phone call from a girlfriend I recently ran into (that I hadn't seen in over 20 years) and she wanted to see what I was doing Sunday and invited me to come to church with her. I asked her where she went and she told me Harvest World Outreach. I almost dropped the phone! I put her on hold and grabbed the mailer and told her about it. I decided to come and I haven't left! I found Calvary in Greensboro! Pastor Coyne, Pastor Misti, Rev. Judy, and all the teachers under him have made my life totally different in the aspect of how much I WANT to be in church. I've learned so much and so has my son. He's learning more and more and is more interested at age 7 about Jesus and the Bible than I was at that age. When I first walked into this ministry I felt beaten down to the ground through bad decisions, and wrong relationships. I was hungry for more of God, and setting under great teaching by Pastor Coyne along with his leaders has tremendously impacted my life. The first couple of visits I felt an overwhelming love by everyone, from being greeted to hearing a great word. There was a system set in place to take someone like myself from the beginning of my walk to helping out in various leadership positions. I have found a home for a solid foundation to continue my daily growth and being grounded in the knowledge of who I am in Christ. Sincerely, Dale Poe

God answered my prayers when he sent Pastor Coyne into my life. Before then I never really had a Man of God that would teach me and lead by example of how to be a Man of God. God did send laborers to me though and I even thank God for that. I pray that I'm able to reach God's fullness for me in this lifetime. As a matter of fact I know I will because I have a great leader! It's funny because when I see Pastor Coyne hurt for the people I hurt for the people. Why do I love Harvest Church?.....simply put.... because I am at home at Harvest. I never truly understood what it meant to be "home" at a local church...that is, not until I met Pastors Joe & Misti Coyne. From the first time I met them, I knew they were to be my Pastors. The Love of God exuded from the very core of their being. If I had two words to describe my Pastors they would be "excellence & integrity". As I grew to know the members of Harvest, I realized these traits were possessed by everyone at Harvest, not just the Pastors. Now that I have become heavily involved in serving, I see excellence and integrity in every area of ministry. The heart of God is in everything that is said and done at Harvest World Outreach Church. I would recommend HWOC to anyone who does not have a church home. The Love of God is ministered to everyone from the youngest infant to the oldest senior, and every age in between. There are many reasons why I love attending Harvest Church, just to name a few. Pastor and Pastor Misti have proven themselves to be consistent in all they say and do. They serve as a role model for both the young and old. They lead by example. I have found their teachings to be relevant to the present time, always offering real solutions for real people through the Word of God. Harvest is a church of many colors; red, yellow, black and white all the colors that are precious in God's sight. At Harvest there are no limits for a person to grow in the Lord, the only limit would be yourself. If I had to sum it up in a few words as to why I love coming to Harvest Church it would be this; I have a Pastor who has a heart for God, full of integrity, and is a man of his word. My Church is a "home" to me. Its people are "family" to me. I love the worship times, prayer times and service times at my Church because each time is a special reverence time before the Lord, especially communion time. Communion time is such a holy time it is always a refreshing committing experience at HWOC. The best and most important reason I love HWOC is the leadership of the Church. The Pastor and his wife are living examples of the Word of God. I can go on with accolades about my Pastor but the greatest example of my Pastor is that of Christ: humility and integrity. Integrity in ALL that they do. Their lives are a daily example in my life. I know no other leaders in my life with this level of humility and integrity. Oby Monu

There are many, many, many excellent things I can say about Harvest Church, but I can summarize everything by saying that attending Harvest Church has (and will continue to) nurtured my whole man - spirit, soul and body. At Harvest Church, the love of God is so evident and every one is welcome, no matter what race, creed, or color. I am continuously learning more about the true character of God under the teaching of my pastors. At Harvest Church, I have learned who I am in Christ and have developed a hunger to be the woman that God created me to be. At Harvest Church, I am challenged to go higher in Christ and keep Him first in my life. Harvest Church is a family - it's my family. I am grateful to you, my pastors at Harvest World Outreach Church for providing my daughter & I with a wholesome place to grow spiritually. We are a part of a REAL family at Harvest -- people that care about you & pray for you. Since I have been a member here I have applied spiritual principles to my life & benefited tremendously, particularly in the financial area. I was blessed with a car when I did not have a job and a brand new home with a part-time job! That comes from releasing my faith with giving of tithes and offerings! I am believing God for my car & my home to be supernaturally paid off! PRAISE GOD!
